Having had an early start at work in-order to have a second and successful at installing a new UTM device (The first attempt had to be rolled back due to a setting in one of the other switches, which hasn’t been a problem before, reacting with the new UTM device causing two VLANs to be able to see each other and resulting in both DHCP servers shutting down), I was home by lunchtime and with a couple of hours I had the van packed for this weekend’s Jolly Up.

Since we’ve not used the van since late last year and the fact that I have been working on it, everything needed loading including all the kites. As yet I haven’t made the compression bags for Hello Kitty and her lifter, but I did manage to get hold of some scrap very heavy weight bags from work and they seem to work very much like vacuum bags, compressing down expelling the air but not easily being able to draw it back in again.

With the van loaded the evening was spent making small sled for the up coming competition at the Jolly Up. My all new sparless, welded polythene design is proving problematic due to it having a very small wind range, so one for a later event, and the small sled for the train is over size by 5cm.
