With the high voltage work completed it was back into the office this afternoon to bring up the network and servers. Unfortunately the installation engineers hadn’t finished the cabinets for the new production line so it was a half an hour before I could safely start without the risk of the power going down again. When I finally got started the network came up fine as did the domain servers but the NAS decided it didn’t want to reboot its RAID array.

With the NAS issue resolved (I think is was just the cold affecting the drives), the firewall servers decided that since they had been running continuously for nearly twelve months they needed to run HDD integrity checks and thus boot-up took nearly an hour. Still I didn’t waste time for instead of sitting and twiddling my thumbs waiting for the computers as I normally would, I got the last eight sections of ripstop for the current project cut ready for sewing.

I now have the body, arms and legs fully assembled along with the hair bow, and all the head pieces cut. I just need get the head assembled and fitted to the body then its onto a test inflation and the bridling.
