Well its still raining here, though it did let up a bit during the day, it picked up again this evening just as I set up my work benches ready to work on the toilet door. So having got dispensation to work in the house and in order to meet my deadline I moved everything into the house and planed down the doors squaring up the edges to take the centre hinges.
With the hinges and door handle screwed on, the remaining top pivot was inserted into the second half of the door and the whole assembly slotted in place, just in time for the weekend.
Being August Bank holiday it Portsmouth Kite Festival and possibly out last major festival of the year. We are giving Dieppe a miss this year but I do hope to attend Margate, though it has been put back to October due to Dieppe and doesn’t yet match Portsmouth.
