Well I took the plunge today and ordered the fresh water tank today from GFG Plastics Ltd. They don’t have their own website but they have been given a good write up by other members of the SBMCC. At their recommendation I dropped the length of the tank from 1250mm to 1220mm as this means that they can just slice a sheet of material widthways to produce the top bottom and sides rather than having to slit lengthways and shortern thus reducing the price.
As result of the change I have been quoted £70 plus postage for the completed tank which should be delivered in the middle of next week. Not a bad deal even if I do say so myself. I was going to vacuum out the van this evening but I got home to find Leng was already doing it, so I am toying with some designs for an inflatable I have been comissioned to make.
