Time to reveal this winter’s project to the world, finally I had a morning will little to no wind and the ground and weather were (reasonably dry), so it was a out with the leaf blower and into the garden with Hello Kitty. Yep that right this winter’s project was ‘Hello Kitty’.

So far she is only partially bridled – not that you can see the bridle lines in the in the photos – but I have sufficient to tether her and finish bridling in a live flying environment. Now that I know that she will inflate I just need a good flying weekend to get the bridling finished.

Meanwhile on the Van front, it went in had had its first MOT today. Previous experience with first time MOTs suggested it was either going to fail spectacularly or pass with flying colours, suffice to say it passed, I just now have to cough up the Road Tax for the year. Interestingly it was given a Class IV MOT and not a Class VII despite the fact that I haven’t had the V5 body type changed from a panel van to a motor caravan.

We also have a collection of items to go on the van, first up will be a 100w solar panel, then the 20l Oven/Grill, all of which were purchased in time to beat the VAT increase. With Hello Kitty all but finished and a new lifter made but still to be tested, I foresee my self back working on the van again very shortly.
