International Kite Festival (RICV is the french acronym) is organized each year by the tourism office of Berck-sur-Mer and the town of Berck-sur-Mer.
This world-renowned event requires the rallying of many services : sports and events, technical department, communication, town planning, information technology department…
Hundreds of municipal officers are involved daily to guarantee the fairy and magic of this great kite celebration.
Moreover, agents of the tourism office ensure the reception of kite players from all over the world but also of hundreds of thousands spectators come to gaze at the colorful sky of Berck-sur-Mer for about 10 years. Thanks to the financial support from the Conseil Régional and Conseil Général and especially the financing from the town of Berck-sur-Mer, International Kite Festival stays the biggest free event in Pas-de-Calais !
