Sewing Machine
Your sewing machine should be capable of producing the following lockstitch types:
- 301 8 SPI – A straight stitch 8 stitches per inch (3mm/⅛” long)
- 304 16 SPI ⅛” Throw – A zigzag stitch 16 stitches per inch (1.5mm/1/16” long) and 3mm/⅛” wide
- (Optional) 305 24 SPI ¼” Throw – A triple step zigzag stitch 24 stitches per inch (1mm/1/24”) and 6mm/¼” wide
Your sewing machine should have the following feet:
- Standard foot
- (Optional) Zipper foot
- (Optional) Braiding Foot
You should also have spare needles of the appropriate size for the threads you will be using and enough bobbins so that you have at least enough to have one each for the threads you intend to use.
Do not worry if your machine does not do the optional stitch and, or does not have the optional feet as there are workarounds.
