Today I drove to Peterborough to spend the day flying with the GOKF on Ferry Meadows it be One Sky One World day today. We had what turned out to be an almost perfect flying day, the wind was up and down a bit but the gusts weren’t as strong as forecast.

Dick Abbs flew hid latest penta and tail which stayed nailed to the sky, and I managed to get a couple of bears up which drew in the public and photographers. On the ever growing list for this winter is a larger lifter, the 4m pilot is just not man enough to lift all the bears consistently, I’m currently drawn between another Pilot but bigger, a molar flowform or a bigger powersled: Tux-eyes has slightly less lift than the 4m Pilot but uses substantially less fabric, plus there are a number ideas that Jeroen Colpaert has used in his sleds that I would like to try, so it may well be a larger sled.
