With Leng back at work after a weeks holiday working on the van in the evenings is limited to an hour or so between finishing my evening meal and Bon-bon going to bed. As a result its been back to the Bear production line.

With a few Nanuqs to make along with a pair of Matosapa, my new American Black Bear, I have been working production line style repeating each assembly process on every bear before moving on to the next process. Whilst this method is probably the most efficient way of working it does mean that it has taken me several months to reach the point where they are all ready for bridling.

Meantime last Friday I had a warning light appear on the car dashboard, checking the handbook it turned out to be an injector system malfunction, so I booked it in for an ECU data read and possible repair today. However as Sod’s Law predicts last night Leng rang from work to say the light had go out, despite this I took the car in and had the ECU downloaded and reset and paid nearly £50 for the privilege. It turns out it was a one off ‘Improbable NOx Reading’ that caused the problem, and it cleared from the dashboard because the engine had been restarted three times after the error was recorded.
